World Sight Day is a global event held every year to draw attention to blindness and vision impairment. In 2018 World Sight Day is Thursday 11th October 2018 co-ordinated by The International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness (IAPB).

SchoolScreener® and #WorldSightDay
Thomson Screening is pleased to announce that it is embarking on a new initiative with Arunodaya Deseret Eye Hospital (ADEH) in New Delhi, India. Their focus is on reversing the tide of curable blindness, in their area of operations in Delhi, Gurugram and surrounding townships.
Their aim is to trial Thomson Screening’s SchoolScreener® software to manage the vision screening and associated administration for 20,000 children. SchoolScreener® software was developed at City, University of London.
